About StackBeam

Why we built this

Every team we've worked on hit the same wall: an observability vendor whose pricing climbs faster than your traffic, dashboards that aggregate away the data you actually need, and sampling that hides the bugs you want to catch.

StackBeam is the tool we wished we had. It's opinionated about what matters (tail latency, real traces, real signals), and it stays out of your way for everything else.

How we work

We're a small, distributed team. We ship continuously, write our own runbooks, and dogfood every feature before customers see it. Our infrastructure is boring on purpose: well-understood services, predictable operational characteristics, no exotic clouds.
